Property Tax Amendment 1 Passed

Amendment 1, the property tax reform on the ballot for Tuesday's vote has passed with 64 per cent voter approval. This will cap property tax increases for second homes and businesses at 10 per cent per annum and is estimated to cut taxes by $9.3 billion in the first five years.
